Applicants try out Sixth Form life

It was an absolute pleasure to see our Heanor Gate Spencer Academy Sixth Form taster event so well received on Tuesday 1^st March.

The event saw students from other schools given the opportunity to try out the subjects they plan to take as level 3 courses in September 2022.

From an eye dissection in Biology to hand treatments in our bespoke Beauty salon, our potential new recruits were given that special Heanor Gate experience by staff and current students alike.

Feedback from the event has been excellent with one student stating “I can’t wait to get started in September!”.

The success of our Sixth Form is clearly reflected in the popularity of applications this year from both Heanor Gate Spencer Academy and surrounding schools.
