Ribbon cut on our new courts!

Our tennis courts, which are situated at the top of the school site, were looking tired, had an uneven surface and the surrounding woven-wire fence had slowly become damaged over the years.

We are pleased to say the works that started in the summer to revamp this space are now complete!

With a new welded fence installed around the perimeter, a new, even surface on the ground and tennis and netball court lines painted (albeit temporary until spring when the permanent lines will be applied), we now have a great outdoor space for PE lessons and free time that we can be proud of.

Once Mr Huntington and Mr Fretwell had cut the ribbon a GCSE PE group were invited to practice their netball skills and vet the improved facility, and within 5 minutes of watching them play it was clear to us that our students will benefit hugely from this investment.
